
SAFA to lodge a complaint about poor officiating between Ghana and South Africa game

The South African Football Association will be lodging a formal complaint to both FIFA and CAF about the poor officiating in the final 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying match in Group G between Ghana and South Africa.
Senegalese referee Maguetee Ndiaye awarded the Black Stars a controversial first-half penalty from which Ghana scored to win the match one-nil.
The goal by Ghana captain, Andre Ayew, ended Bafana Bafana's dream of qualifying for next year's World Cup in Qatar.
